A doctoral degree in audiology equips you with the knowledge and training you need to pursue a career in audiology helping evaluate and rehabilitate people with hearing and balance disorders.
Our four-year program at Ball State is the second oldest existing doctor of audiology (AuD) program in the country and is accredited by the
Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. The program covers the diverse areas within audiology and includes the requirements you need to receive Indiana school certification, an Indiana state license, and a certificate of clinical competence from the
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with
excellent faculty and gain hands-on experience through our on-campus
Audiology Clinic. You’ll also be required to complete a 12-month clinical rotation during your fourth year.
