To be admitted to our master of arts in actuarial science program, you must first satisfy the requirements of the
Graduate School as well as meet our
department’s criteria, which includes having a bachelor’s degree with three semesters of calculus, a course in linear algebra, and at least one semester of probability and statistics. Although the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is not required for admission, you might consider taking it if you plan to apply for a
graduate assistantship.
