New MBA Concentration in Sales Management

Increase your career success with Ball State’s new MBA concentration in professional selling and sales management. Ball State is the only university in Indiana—and only one of a handful nationally—to offer a graduate-level concentration in professional selling and sales management. In this program, you will better understand the important role sales plays in the success of an organization and improve your professional sales capabilities by learning:
  • How to design and implement effective strategies to build and manage successful buyer–seller relationships.

  • How to select, develop, compensate, and otherwise manage salespeople in a manner that is consistent with, and helps accomplish, the organization’s strategic objectives.

  • How to increase sales and sales management effectiveness through the integration of technology, including computer and communications hardware and software, social networking tools, emerging media, and other related tools.

Through its offering of this concentration, Ball State continues its national leadership in the area of professional selling and sales management

As a graduate of the MBA with a sales concentration program, you will have a distinctive skill set that is relevant and directly applicable to the business challenges facing organizations today. Classes meet on campus and are broadcast live online. To learn more about our program, watch our virtual information session recorded on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in which program advisors and students describe the admissions process, deadlines, and important details.

Our online program meets the high standards of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). And our entrepreneurship program has consistently ranked among the nation’s best
