master of arts in cognitive and social processes can prepare you for doctoral studies or work in a
business or research setting.
Our
program, which includes extensive training in social and cognitive psychology, research methods, and statistics, gives you excellent opportunities to work closely with our
top-notch faculty. You’ll be able to collaborate with faculty whose
research interests include stereotyping and prejudice, cross-cultural issues and diversity, juror decision-making, eyewitness memory, gender issues, text processing, emotion, sexuality, health, and interpersonal communication.
Our program is flexible so that you can tailor your studies to your interests in such areas as psychology and law, institutional research, management, communication, sociology, and more. If your goal is to pursue doctoral studies, you’ll be prepared: since 2004, about 90 percent of our graduates who applied to doctoral programs were admitted.
