When you pursue a
master of arts in communication studies, you can choose to focus on
organizational communication development or
rhetorical studies and interpersonal communication.
The first option prepares you to become an organizational communication consultant, trainer, or development specialist. The second track gets you ready for a doctoral program, college teaching position, or professional communication career.
Whatever option you select, you’ll study with the
best, and you’ll be able to take advantage of
internship opportunities. You also can take advantage of a special program offered in partnership with the
Center for Organizational Resources and become a certified training consultant.
