If you’re interested in pursuing a master of science (MS) in
computer science, Ball State is the place.
Our program has two options, one that
requires a thesis and one that
does not require a thesis. If you plan to start your career when you graduate, the nonthesis option is likely better for you. If you plan to further your studies with doctoral work or to teach, the thesis option is probably better.
Either way, you’ll be able to take advantage of our
quality faculty,
faculty/student research groups including our relationship with the
Software Engineering Research Center,
corporate partnerships,
top-notch facilities, and internship opportunities in the software development industry. You’ll be able to work with business practitioners, faculty, and other students to address the latest challenges in computing and information technology.
