If you are seeking to enhance your knowledge about how the human body works, consider a master of arts or master of science in physiology.
Our program will prepare you to pursue a medical, dental, or other doctoral program, a research career in industry or higher education, or a teaching career at a community college. You’ll benefit from our small, interactive classes,
state-of-the-art research facilities, and hands-on learning opportunities available through our physician-shadowing program.
Our
experienced faculty members will provide in-depth coverage of endocrinology, renal physiology, cardiovascular dynamics, neuroscience, aging, and pathophysiology, and you can choose to focus on kidney injury mechanisms, gastrointestinal disorders, or autoimmunity and synaptic transmission. You’ll be able to complete our
master of arts program in just one year, including a summer semester. Our
master of science program requires that you demonstrate a higher level of research skills by completing a thesis.
