Visual Arts

A master of arts (MA) in visual arts can help you finesse your studio art skills, enhance your art history and education knowledge, and prepare you to become an ambassador of visual arts in school systems and communities. In our program you can choose to focus on a variety of studio areas including ceramics, drawing, electronic art/animation, metals, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. You’ll have the opportunity to work with top-notch faculty committed to teaching and creating and exhibiting new work, and you’ll be able to take advantage of state-of-the-art facilities and our on-campus art museum. Through our program, which is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, we pledge to help you develop significant ideas in visual arts education and master the tools and methods for creating art.

Apply today to the Graduate School  and the Department of Art in the College of Fine Arts. Learn how to defray tuition costs by becoming a graduate assistant and check out other options to pay for grad school.
