When you pursue a specialist in education degree in school psychology you’ll be prepared to assist teachers, parents and others in helping students develop their potential to learn. And you’ll be fully trained and ready for certification as a school psychologist in Indiana. At Ball State our specialist in education school psychology program, which is part of our nationally acclaimed Teachers College, will help you develop competencies in assessment, consultation, intervention and prevention and give you a solid foundation in human development, learning, curriculum, research methods and statistics. Our program is accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. You’ll have the opportunity to work with top-notch faculty members and have clinical and field-based opportunities seeing clients in our psychoeducational diagnostic and intervention clinic
