Attend our orientation, called the Graduate Student Development Conference, to find out everything you want and need to know about succeeding in Graduate School.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet other graduate students and faculty members, tour the campus, learn the resources available to you, find out the policies and procedures relevant to lab and field experiences, and understand the federal and state regulations about workplace behavior and safety. At the close of the conference, you’ll know what we expect from our graduate students, and you’ll be equipped with the resources to help you meet those expectations.
We encourage all graduate students to attend as much of the conference as possible. Our Monday sessions are mandatory if you are a teaching assistant. You’ll gain valuable information about workplace rules and regulations during these sessions.
