Check status of your application Note: Any action toward your admission will not occur until ALL official transcripts, application fee, and completed Graduate School application materials are received. If this is the first time you have applied to Ball State, you must request one official transcript from the institution that granted your bachelor’s degree, as well as from each institution you attended for any undergraduate and graduate course work. 1. Send one copy of each official transcript to the Graduate School. The Graduate School will provide the department with a copy. 2. All transcripts become the property of Ball State University.
3. Remember, you will likely have to apply to the program in your specific program in addition to the Graduate School. What is an official transcript? An official transcript is one that has been received directly from the issuing institution—often you can make a transcript request from the institution’s Web site. Official transcripts must bear the college seal, date, and an appropriate signature. Transcripts that do not meet these requirements will not be considered official.
