Biography
Ronald Morris is the author of Bringing History to Life: First-Person Historical Presentations in Elementary and Middle School Classrooms, Drama in Elementary and Middle School Social Studies, History and Imagination: Reenactment for Elementary Social Studies, and The Field Trip Book: Study Travel Experience in Social Studies and the co-author of 50 Social Studies Strategies for K-8 Classrooms, How to Perform Acting Out History in the Classroom to Enrich Social Studies Education, and Classroom Plays for an Ethical World. He is the author of over thirty articles on social studies education. In the Fall 2004, he led a Virginia B. Ball Center for Creative Inquiry seminar, “Wayne County Intersections: Traces and Trails.” He coordinates grant funded teacher in-service programs based on primary sources.
