What is the honors residence hall like?
- Beginning in the fall of 2009, honors housing moved to a fully modernized and renovated DeHority Hall, with "overflow" in next door Park Hall.
- An honors hall is generally cleaner and quieter than others on campus because the your fellow honors students are (generally) more mature and respectful. But they are still college students, and they like to have fun and partake in activities that most college students do.
- The hall has laundry facilities, kitchenettes, and study lounges, as well as access to computing and workout rooms.
- Bike lockers are available.
- You must use your Ball State ID card to access the floors.
- The front desk is open from around 7 a.m. to midnight (depends on the day, hall, etc.) The desk staff is available to help you with questions, give your guests permission to stay in your room overnight, and rent out movies, equipment, vacuums, and other stuff.
- Each floor has a resident assistant (RA) available for questions and concerns.
