Certainly. Several recent theses have been joint projects. For examples, see our list of past senior theses and creative projects. You will need to get permission from the Honors College dean or assistant dean and to let the Honors College know whether both of you will be advised by the same professor. When you turn in your proposal, be sure it spells out your role in the project and in its design, as well as the names of those with whom you are collaborating.
Each person receiving credit for the senior honors project or thesis will have to turn in a separate copy, with her or his name on the title page, which will be signed by the thesis advisor. The written portion of the thesis or project should include an explanation of the individual student's role and responsibility in completing the project or thesis. How this is done is a good topic for discussion in your appointment with the dean or associate dean.
