Freshmen in the Honors College join a supportive, close-knit living and learning community in a campus living environment reserved just for honors students.

In this stimulating intellectual and social atmosphere, students enjoy opportunities for informal interaction with faculty at special meals and at informal discussions and programs. They also can participate in informal meetings, lectures, and discussions organized by the Student Honors Council as well as dances, ice cream socials, and casual contests such as the Trivia Bowl. Some students take weekend field trips and raise money for charity.

Recent fun activities include:

  • dodge ball tournament
  • casino night
  • Cardinal 5K Walk
  • field trips to Chicago, Washington, and Atlanta

And because honors housing is located close to the Honors College offices, academic assistance is never far away.
