Semester-Long Programs

Keele University in Staffordshire
Each year, the Honors College works with the Rinker Center for International Programs to select honors students to participate in an exchange program with Keele University in Staffordshire, England.

Keele is one of the finest “new” universities in the U.K. Students typically take four courses with the possibility of an additional independent study and may choose classes from a wide range of subjects and programs. Like Ball State, Keele is undergraduate friendly, and students live on the campus in small “houses” (residence halls).

University of Limerick
In the spring of 2003, the Honors College inaugurated a spring-semester program at the University of Limerick in Ireland. As many as 12 students may be accepted to this program each year.

Before the start of the Limerick semester, students may have the option of participating in a site-based colloquium that takes them to such places as Dublin, Belfast, Sligo, and Galway. Under the direction of an honors professor, students explore the texts of these and other colorful cities.
