Students admitted to the Honors College are eligible for several scholarships sponsored by Ball State and its benefactors and awarded by the Honors College. Some scholarships require a separate application form, while others do not. For details on each scholarship, follow the links below. Presidential Scholarships
Half of in-state or out-of-state tuition (does not include fees), renewable for eight semesters.
Whitinger Scholars Program
The signature scholarship of the Honors College. Full tuition/fees and room and board, renewable for eight semesters. Ten scholarships awarded each year.
Honors College and Honors Distinction Scholarships
Full tuition for eight semesters.
Dr. T. M. Anderson Scholarship
Equivalent of half the value of Indiana tuition in addition to the Presidential Scholarship each year for four years. One scholarship awarded each year.
Deborah S. Wehman Scholarship
Maximum award equivalent to the value of in-state tuition in addition to the Presidential Scholarship each year for four years. One scholarship awarded when funds are available.
Honors College Awards of Excellence
Ranging from $1,000 or higher per year in addition to other awards received.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver K. Ho Scholarship
About $1,300 per year for four years in addition to the Presidential Scholarship.
James and Sarah T. Robinson Scholarship
For an outstanding student from southern Indiana, an award of $1,000 in addition to the Presidential Scholarship. One awarded each year.
