Much of today’s critical journalistic information never touches a printed page, and if you’re going into journalism, you’ll want to be prepared to thrive in an increasingly online world. Providing relevant experience in this area is the goal of Ball Bearings, an online multimedia publication supported by the Department of Journalism.
Students from a variety of majors with varying levels of Web-related experiences contribute to the production of Ball Bearings in one or more of the following roles: reporter, editor, designer, photographer, and programmer. Join this staff to gain experience in creating and posting multimedia content, including feature stories, photo essays, and even interactive online games.
