The Department of Journalism and the Center for Information and Communication Sciences have created a joint master’s degree for students who want to obtain a specialization in journalism or public relations along with a background in information management and technology.
Graduate advisors from both disciplines create an individualized program for you, based on your interests and needs. Students choose one program as the lead program, and that choice will determine whether the result will be a master of arts degree in journalism or public relations or a master of science degree in information and communication sciences.
