Professional Experience
Shoemaker has served as telecommunications policy advisor for the Indiana Department of Commerce, director of public policy and external affairs for Verizon Wireless Communications, and the president of Richard Shoemaker Associates Public Policy Consultants. He has taught at the University of Indianapolis, The Ohio State University, and Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.
