Tuition Costs and Financial Aid
Ball State offers competitive tuition rates and is the nation’s first and only certified master’s program in public relations.
Basic tuition between online and main-campus study is the same, but on-campus study means you will pay additional fees for student services, health, recreation, and housing.
Graduate Assistantships
Main-campus students may also qualify for graduate assistantships. Assistantships may be available in the Department of Journalism or in other positions throughout Ball State. Some assistantships are posted with Ball State's Career Center.
Assistantships provide a tuition waiver and a modest stipend. In addition to a full load of classes, graduate assistants work 10 or 20 hours each week on a variety of assignments. Fill our assistantship application, print, and send the completed form to the Department of Journalism.
