Programs of Study
Ball State University's master of business administration (MBA) program prepares professionals and continuing students with the skills to solve the critical problems of today’s organizations.
Our program provides a practical, rigorous, academic business foundation plus the flexibility to choose electives relevant to individual career interests. Courses bring you into close contact with professors in an environment where real problems can be analyzed and solved.
Ball State was one of the first schools in Indiana to offer a graduate certificate in business. The business essentials certificate is designed especially for professionals who do not currently hold a degree in business.
Finish this program, and you’ll have 12 Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) recognized, graduate-level credit hours and a Ball State University certificate. You’ll also have under your belt at least four of the six prerequisite courses you would need to complete a Ball State master of business adminstration (MBA), if you choose that path later.
We also have two other certificate programs:
Health Economics, Policy, and Administration: If you are a professional in the health industry or a related field, Ball State’s MBA-level certificate in health economics, policy, and administration will give you the analytical skills and policy perspectives to navigate the health industry as it responds to ongoing governmental and market influences.
Selling and Sales Management: Our 12-hour certificate program goes beyond theory, providing you with the skills and strategies you need to successfully execute the sales process and establish and manage long-lasting customer relationships. You will earn distinctive skills that are relevant and directly applicable to business challenges facing organizations today.
