Heading off to college can be both exciting and a bit scary. The Freshman Connections Program can help.
All incoming freshmen are part of Freshman Connections, which divides the university’s newest students into teams that allow them to get better connected with one another along with faculty and student mentors, who have been around for a while.
The teams are centered on specific living units and also may have academic themes. The idea is that new student neighbors may share some classes with one another, along with special Freshman Connections events.
One of the teams isspecifically designed to include pre-business students (you'll officially
become a business student after completing the pre-business core and earning
junior standing). Not only can you connect early on with like-minded students,
you also can get to know the team’s faculty advisors, which include three
