Elizabeth A. Black, BS accounting 1999, is a senior partner and a CPA with the Kemper CPA group in Connersville, Indiana.
Sabrina Carollo, BA accounting 1992, is vice president of research at Ariel investments in Chicago. Carollo specialized in health care as well as the office supplies industries. She is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
Brent D. Cox, BS accounting 1992, is a managing partner for Cox, Beckman, Goss, and Company, Indianapolis. Cox is also a CPA. In addition to the CPA practice, he is a co-owner of Avocado, a motorsports marketing business that works with teams and drivers in the IndyCar series.
Michael K. Hackett, BS finance 1993, is the vice president and trust officer for Harbour Trust and Investment Management Company, Michigan City, Indiana. Prior to joining Harbour Trust in 2001, he spent eight years serving as a personal trust administrator with JP Morgan Chase.
Julie R. Mitchell Hipsky, BS accounting 1990, is the accounting and auditing director for the Indianapolis and Bloomington offices of BKD, LLP. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Indiana CPA Society. Hipsky is a member of the Miller College Executive Advisory Board.
Marc P. Maloy, BS business administration 1997, is a senior associate for Zehner, Maloy, and Associates, Logansport, Indiana. He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society. He has worked with the firm since high school when his father would bring him into the office. He has had a full-time position since 2004.
Brian C. Merrill, BS corporate financial management 1995, is a trust investment officer for Harbour Trust. He joined the company in 2008 with six years experience as a portfolio manager and investment officer at Old National Trust and Horizon Bank and Trust. He is currently pursuing the completion of a chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation.
Brian K. Muncy, BS accounting 1997, is a manager with KB Parrish Company in Indianapolis. Muncy is a CPA and a certified fraud examiner.
Patrick Murphy, BS corporate financial management 1993, is the president of Mid America Health Inc., a national leader in correctional dental health care services. He joined Mid America in 1997 after working as a registered stockbroker. Murphy is a Morgantown, Indiana, resident.
Denise Ostendorf, BS accounting 1990, is a controller for Barrow Neurosurgical Associates (BNA) in Arizona. Her responsibilities include preparing financial statements, general ledger analysis and account reconciliation, organizing and maintaining financial accounting systems, and cash management.
She has worked for BNA since 1998. Previously, she worked as an accounting manager in several different lines of business, including property management, an investment company, a collection agency, and an office equipment company. She became an ordained minister in 2004.
Thales Panagides, MBA 1998, is the director of international sales and marketing for Mar Egeu, a designer and producer of Brazilian swimsuits. Panagides is based in Fortaleza, Brazil. He is the largest independent distributor of authentic Brazilian bikinis in the world.
Jeff Papa, MA 1999, earned his master of laws (LLM) in intellectual property law at Indiana University Maurer School of Law in May, graduating first in his class and summa cum laude. He is the chief of staff and chief legal counsel for the Indiana Senate. Papa is a Zionsville, Indiana, resident.
Craig Sprinkle, BS finance 1991, is the CFO for ePrize, Pleasant Ridge, Michigan, and has served in the role since 2007. He brings nearly 20 years of financial leadership experience spanning a number of industries including business and financial services, retail, and manufacturing. At ePrize, he oversees all finance, accounting, treasury, and purchasing operations.
Prior to ePrize, Sprinkle spent six years as the vice president of financial planning and analysis for Entertainment Publications Inc., a leading provider of consumer savings and merchant discounts, best known for its flagship product, the Entertainment book.
Brady Whitesel, BS accounting 1992, is the CEO for IMAVEX, a provider of Web site design, development, and Internet marketing solutions. Prior to IMAVEX, Whitesel was CFO at The Schneider Corporation and Autobase Inc. and was employed by Ernst and Young in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a CPA.
