Kenneth Bantz earned his undergraduate degree from Ball State University and a Masters of Accountancy degree from Washington State University in 1985. His work experience includes Big Four, regional and local public accounting firm experience. He has also served as a Controller and Chief Financial Officer in the entertainment and manufacturing sectors. He served as a consultant in 2001-2002 in assisting Cummins, Inc. with the implementation of Sarbanes Oxley Act. He has also served as an accounting/business consultant for numerous other businesses. Besides teaching at Ball State University, he had previously taught at Central Washington University and Indiana Purdue University Ft. Wayne. In 2014 he received the “Outstanding Faculty Award” from the Indiana Gamma Chapter, Sigma Phi Epsilon, and Ball State University. May 1991, at Indiana Purdue University Ft. Wayne he received recognition for outstanding service from The Association of Disabled Students. He is a Certified Public Accountant with memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.
