Vicki Shipley received her bachelor of arts and master's (1976) degrees from Ball State University. She joined the Department of Accounting faculty in spring 1979, and teaches Principles of Accounting.

Shipley was the recipient of Delta Sigma Pi's Educator of the year Award for 1992-1993 and has earned several College of Business Dean's Teaching Awards.
