Profile:
John Horowitz, Associate Professor of Economics, earned his doctorate from Texas A&M University in 1988. Before he joining Ball State in 1989, he taught at Trinity University (1987-1989). His research areas are: economics, public finance, and public choice. Horowitz's current research includes Mobility in the Earned Income Tax Credit, Negative Externalities, Antibiotic Resistance, and the Economics of Schooling. His research publications have been published in Economic Inquiry, Eastern Economic Journal, Nursing Economics, Public Choice, and Southern Economic Journal.
