Courtenay Cliff Stone, Professor of Economics, received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1973. Before joining Ball State in 1991, he was a reserach economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (1979-1991) and he taught at California State University, Northridge (1968-1979). His fields of interest include microeconomic theory, money and banking, and financial markets.
