Ray Montagno is a professor of management and associate dean of research and outreach in the Miller College of Business at Ball State University. He teaches courses in general management, human resources, and international management. In 1990, he was named the College of Business Professor of the Year.
Montagno has written two books and published numerous articles on human resources, competitiveness, and international issues. His main interest is in the area of organizational competitiveness and innovation. He has consulted with many large U.S. and multinational firms on issues relating to productivity and international competitiveness. He has also done considerable corporate training and has custom designed many corporate training programs. He is also a certified trainer for Zinger-Miller, Inc. and holds certification as senior professional in human resources. His background includes degrees in both engineering and psychology.
