Inclement Weather Policy for MBA Distance Education Courses

Classes will be held regardless of the weather conditions unless Ball State University closes. However, as always, we encourage you to use your own discretion in inclement weather. If you cannot attend class or you are enrolled in an off-campus location in a county that has been declared in a state-of-emergency, then you should contact your professor.

In the event your class or exam is canceled, the graduate programs office will make an attempt to notify you by phone prior to the scheduled meeting. Should a state-of-emergency be declared for the county in which your exam site is located, the exams at your test site will be postponed to the following Saturday at the location originally scheduled. If exams are administered and you cannot attend, a make-up exam will be granted at the discretion of the professor, and usually will be administered on campus.
