You may declare yourself a pre-business major during your freshman or sophomore year and take advantage of our
advising services.
To officially declare a major in any of the 12 Miller College of Business bachelor's degree programs, including accounting, you must be at least a junior and have fulfilled certain
prerequisites, including specific courses in accounting, economics, English, business information systems, and mathematics.
