Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the master’s program, you must meet the admissions requirements of both the Graduate School and the Department of Accounting Admissions Committee.

You must demonstrate competency in the foundations of accounting, economics, business law, management, operations management, marketing, and finance. Applicable undergraduate course work may be used to demonstrate these competencies, or you may be asked to complete some or all of a series of foundation courses in these subject areas. Usually, a student who has an undergraduate degree in business with a major or concentration in accounting will have sufficient background to start the program.

Other factors considered in the admission decision include your previous academic records, your score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), your potential leadership qualities, and other relevant information.

Check the graduate catalog for more information.
