Risk Management and Insurance

There are two minor options, one for business majors and one for non-business majors.

Minor in risk management and insurance, option one

• For Miller College of Business majors (except risk management and insurance majors)
• Includes specific course work in insurance and business law as well as risk management and insurance
• 18 hours

Minor in risk management and insurance, option two

• For non-business majors (except actuarial science and those pursuing minors in business information technology, consumer finance, entrepreneurship, foundations of business, foundations of management, legal studies in business, marketing, or professional selling)

• Includes a core of three courses, plus choices from a set of other risk management and insurance courses

• 18 hours
