There are two minor options, one for business majors and one for non-business majors.
Minor in risk management and insurance, option one
- For Miller College of Business majors (except risk management and insurance majors)
- Includes specific course work in insurance and business law as well as risk management and insurance
- 18 hours
Minor in risk management and insurance, option two

For non-business majors (except actuarial science and those pursuing minors in business information technology, consumer finance, entrepreneurship, foundations of business, foundations of management, legal studies in business, marketing, or professional selling)

Includes a core of three courses, plus choices from a set of other risk management and insurance courses
