Marketing Minor

This 18-hour minor is for all majors (except marketing). Often telecommunications and fashion merchandising majors find the minor a great fit. Course work includes marketing principles and other 300- and 400-level marketing courses.

Check out the undergraduate catalog for more information.

Before you can apply, you need:

  • at least 63 hours toward graduation
  • a junior standing
  • an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.25
  • credit in any economics course

To select this minor, go to the WB Advising Center, WB 146.

To earn a minor in business, business majors must have at least 63 hours outside of the Miller College to graduate. Adding a marketing minor will extend the number of hours required for graduation. For example, if you are an accounting major, adding a marketing minor means you need a minimum of 132 hours (not 126) to graduate.

(Note: This minor is not open to students minoring in business information technology, consumer finance, entrepreneurship, foundations of business, foundations of management, legal studies in business, professional selling, or risk management and insurance.)
