Connections Program for All Freshmen Business Majors

Heading off to college can be both exciting and a bit scary. The Connections program can help.

All incoming freshmen are part of Connections, which divides the university’s newest students into teams that allow them to get better connected with one another along with faculty and student mentors who have been around for a while. The teams are centered on specific living units and also may have academic themes—the idea is that new student neighbors may share some classes with one another, along with special Connections events.

One of the teams is specifically designed to include pre-business students (you'll officially be a pre-business student during your freshman and sophomore years). Not only are you able to connect early-on with like-minded students, you also can get to know the team’s faculty advisors, which include three Miller College of Business instructors.
