Minor in Entrepreneurship

Adding a minor in entrepreneurship can help jump start your career—letting you take your passion and turn it into a business. Designed for both business and non-business majors, a minor in entrepreneurship will teach you the business skills necessary to seize opportunities and bring them to the marketplace.

Entrepreneurship faculty teach you step-by-step how to creatively solve real-world problems, apply a business model to your solutions, and then assess the feasibility of your idea.  Besides gaining the foundations of entrepreneurship, you will learn how to effectively market, manage, and finance your new venture.

For your capstone course, you will be part of a group consulting project with a real company and use your new entrepreneurial skills to research and present a real solution to the company.

Contact your faculty advisor or visit the WB Advising Center in the Whitinger Business Building, room 146, to increase the power of your degree with a minor in entrepreneurship.
