Miller College of Business honors alumni at annual award dinner October 21, 2011.

Ball State’s Miller College of Business will host its Eighth Annual Alumni Awards Dinner, October 21, 2011 at the Alumni Center starting at 5:30 p.m. Eight outstanding alumni will be honored at this year’s dinner.

Mr. A. Umit Taftali, who earned his Bachelors of Science in Finance in 1985, is this year’s Hall of Fame inductee. He is a Consultant for the Koc Holding, Ltd. Co., in Istanbul.

Awards of Distinction:

• Mr. Kevin J. Ervin, bachelor’s degree, accounting, 1971, Managing Director for Market Street Wealth Mgmt., Indianapolis, IN.
• Mr. Robert G. Hunt, bachelor’s degree, business, 1969, President for Hunt Construction Group, Inc., Scottsdale, AZ.
• Mr. Kevin C. Walbridge, bachelor’s degree, management, 1982, Executive Vice President, Operations for Republic Services, Inc., Phoenix, AZ.

Awards of Achievement

• Mr. Charles W. Brown, bachelor’s degree, business, 1971, Owner and Vice President, Southern Bells, Inc., Indianapolis.
• Mrs. Mary M. Cook, bachelor’s degree, marketing, 1974, President for Mary Cook, LLC., Indianapolis.
• Mr. James D. Field, bachelor’s degree, management, 1997, Associate Partner of Oliver Wyman, Chicago, IL.
• Mr. Eric S. Olson, bachelor’s degree, marketing, 1983, President/Owner of T-E, Inc., Fort Wayne, IN.
