• Recognized as one of the best undergraduate programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in the 2006 rankings.

• Ranked 18th among the nation's undergraduate accounting programs at midsize colleges and universities by the 2009 Professors Survey by the Public Accounting Report.  In the same report, Ball State's graduate program in accounting was ranked 17th.
• First public institution in Indiana to receive additional special accreditation for its accounting program from the Association to Advance College Schools of Business.
