Eric J. Foss

Eric J. Foss is chief executive officer of Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC), which represents 75 percent of PepsiCo’s beverage business in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. PBC employs more than 70,000 people focused on making, selling, servicing and delivering Pepsi beverages and third-party allied brands.
Foss joined Pepsi-Cola Company in 1982 and has held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in the areas of sales, marketing and general management in the field and at headquarters. In 1990, he was named vice president-retail strategy for Pepsi-Cola North America (PCNA). From 1994 to 1996, he was general manager of PCNA’s Great West Business Unit. In 1996, he was named general manager of Pepsi-Cola’s Central Europe business. He joined Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG) as senior vice president-U.S. Sales and Field Marketing in 1999 and held other senior positions including that of chief executive officer and chairman when PBG was merged with PepsiCo.
Foss also serves on the board of directors of CIGNA Coporation, United Dominion Realty Trust, and the Industry Affairs Council of the Grocery Manufacturers of America. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Ball State University.
