Admission Requirements

The master's program in Statistics provides students with the background suitable for employment as a statistician in business, indsutry, or government.  The degree also provides suitable preparation for pursuing a PhD degree in Statistics.

Applicants must meet the regular admission requirements of the Graduate School.  It is also expected that students will have had three semesters of calculus and a course in linear algebra.
