Studio Jazz Ensemble

The Studio Jazz Ensemble, commonly called Jazz 2, maintains an active rehearsal/performance schedule throughout the year. They rehearse four hours per week. This ensemble tackles the bread and butter of large ensemble playing with repertoire from Ellington, Basie, Thad and Mel, Lunceford, and Goodman. Exploration of new arrangements and student arrangements are also encouraged.
