If you are ready to take the next step in your nursing career, Ball State's master's program will prepare you for an advanced professional role. The program has two distinct tracks: leadership(Educator or Administrator) and advanced practice nurse practitioner (adult or family). Depending on which track you choose, you will graduate with the knowledge and skills you need to begin advanced practice as a nurse practitioner, as an educator or as an administrator.
We're committed to the success of our students both in their professional practice and educational endeavors. Because we know you lead a busy life, we've designed a program to provide flexibility. The master's program is offered completely online and can be pursued through part-time study. You arrange clinical experiences right in your own community and use an outside specialist (preceptor) in your area of study who will provide supervised experience. You'll have up to 6 years to complete your degree.
The Master's program does have application deadlines. If you have questions please contact Stephanie Wilson for more information on the NP Track or Jennifer Criss for the Leadership Track.
