The Ball State School of Nursing offers two post-master's certificates-educator or nurse practitioner-that can advance the careers of nurses who already hold master's degrees. To provide you with flexibility, both programs are offered completely online and are designed to accommodate part-time study. You arrange clinical experiences right in your own community, and use an outside specialist (preceptor) in your area of study who will give practical training and experience.
The School of Nursing will begin accepting applications for admission to the adult and family nurse practitioner tracks for spring 2013 starting July 9, 2012. The application deadline is August 30, 2012; applications must be received by the School of Nursing no later than the deadline. Only complete applications will be reviewed. Summer and fall 2012 enrollment is closed.
