These courses are taught live on our main campus in Muncie and are simultaneously video streamed through the Internet.
Some courses are taken privately; the course video is streamed to your home or office computer. Other courses require “attendance” at local classrooms, often at a local high school. These classes view the streamed course in a small group environment and are able to discuss the materials together.
Classes are taught on specific days at specific times. You are expected to view these classes via the Internet as they are occurring on campus. Muncie is in the Eastern Time Zone. Compare time zones.
Courses that are available via Web conferencing are offered statewide by IHETS Interactive, a Web conferencing system using Macromedia Breeze software. IHETS stands for Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System.
