More than 150 undergraduate classes are offered through the
Independent Learning Program. You may sign up and start classes anytime during the year and select from 9-month or 10-week classes.
The 10-week classes are often referred to as fast-track classes. Fast-track courses may be right for you if you are disciplined, organized, and dedicated to meeting deadlines. Often the only difference between the two types is the time restriction that you want to place on yourself.
You may search a list of available independent learning classes offered in the Online and Distance Education schedule of classes. This schedule lists all the courses currently offered by distance education--not just by independent learning. You can identify independent learning courses by looking at the column marked "delivery method."
