Course Requirements
Teaching Major in Physics, 50 hours
+ 39 hours of education courses below:
Common core, 34 hours:
You must also complete a research project for 3 hours of credit (honors, thesis, internship, or departmental research).
In addition to the core courses above, students must complete the high school physics concentration, and the senior high/junior high/middle school education program listed below.
High School Physics Concentration, 16 hours:
Students who currently hold or are pursuing a secondary license in one of the following areas will not be required to complete the high school physics concentration area: life science, earth/space science, mathematics, chemistry.
High School/Junior High/Middle School Education Program, 39 hours:
