Planetarium and Observatory

web_PlanetariumWebWe are proud to offer planetarium and observatory programs to our students, to school groups, and to members of our extended community.

We offer exciting programs for groups from schools and other organizations. All such visits must be scheduled in advance. Public programs are offered in our planetarium and in our observatory during the school year. The observatory is also open on special occasions for unique astronomical events.

These facilities give our students an educational experience outside the classroom, and we hope it gives you an appreciation and understanding of astronomy. You will get the opportunity to see astronomical instruments for research on galactic structure and stellar astronomy and accretion disks using our telescopes.
