The Department of Physiology and Health Science offers an online graduate certificate in Public Health Education.
Certificate in Public Health Education
Our graduate-level certificate in public health education is designed to enhance your knowledge and skills in workplace health promotion, program planning, disease prevention, and epidemiology. This 14-credit-hour program is designed for working professionals with backgrounds in public health, community health, workplace health, or anyone interested in public health education.

Experienced faculty provide in-depth coverage of human physiological principles in endocrinology, renal physiology, cardiovascular dynamics, neuroscience, aging and pathophysiology in small, interactive classes using state-of-the-art research techniques. Students also have the opportunity to learn up-close through our physician shadowing program.

Hold an earned bachelor's degree from a college or university that is accredited by its regional accrediting association

Satisfy one of the following:

Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale

Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the latter half of the baccalaureate
