Scholarships

In addition to scholarships that are available to all Ball State students, as a political science student you may be eligible for the political science scholarships below.

Michael Corbett Scholarship
The Michael Corbett Scholarship Fund was established by the Department of Political Science in memory of Michael Corbett, a faculty member in the department for more than 30 years. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be an undergraduate student majoring in political science and have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Your application must include:

  • official transcript indicating declared major and most recent GPA
  • letter of recommendation
  • statement of career interest in political science

Wendell L. “Roy” Gruenewald Intern Scholarship
This award is for one semester of tuition for a student serving as an intern.

  • The scholarship is awarded as a one-time tuition grant during the semester the student is an intern.
  • You must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled at Ball State University.
  • You must be enrolled in political science as an intern.

Your application must include:

  • a completed application form
  • an essay describing your goals for the internship
