An outreach arm of the Department of Social Work, the Social Science Research Center (SSRC)
is a research center that assists social service agencies in planning, research, and evaluation and addresses social service needs. The SSRC staff assist social work faculty in developing and carrying out research projects.
The center is located in the North Quad, room 245.
As a social work major, you will have some contact with the center. In the past, staff members have made presentations about their current research projects in the community, showing examples of how social work research enhances social work practice.
